KU Children's Literature Conference - 4/12/25

The Children's Literature Conference is a collaborative initiative involving Kutztown's faculty and staff to provide current and future educators the opportunity to experience the work of award-winning authors and illustrators. Each year the conference strives to present attendees with new ideas on a variety of topics such as the integration of learning, reading and writing with personal experiences of students, facilitating childhood literacy through the exploration of different genres, and effective use of nonfiction reading materials across all subject areas. We hope that our event will encourage those in attendance to challenge themselves and others to be active and creative in the learning process.

The 27th Annual Conference will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025.

Authors for 2025 are David Biedrzycki, Victoria Jamieson, Shadra Strickland and Christina Soontornvat.
